What You Will Do:
Conduct ESP failure analysis, inspection, determine root causes and provide effective recommendations for customers
Write professional technical Report (Dismantle Inspection and Failure Analysis - DIFA) detailing the failure to prevent future failures
Perform data analysis to capture Average failure rate, Mean Time To Failure estimates, Failure Index, Average runtime up to component level for the region
Assist in training and coaching new Reliability Engineers. This includes reviewing/revising submitted DIFA reports
Provide Reliability/Technical support to Customers, Sales, Operations
Attend customer ESP failure review meetings as needed
Maintain good/professional working relationships with customers and other employees
Perform inspection failure analysis on infant ESP components. Collect detailed evidence, photos during dismantle and produce DIFA Report within expected timeline from the date of dismantle
Use problem solving tools such as Cause/Effect Diagram, 5 Whys to determine Failure cause
Work closely with Quality & Engineering to identify areas of improvement with new & existing product line
Planning & Scheduling DIFAs
Lead & facilitate continuous improvement of DIFA processes, tooling and dismantle operations
Perform other duties and special Reliability projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
2 years related work experience.
Strong technical knowledge of ESP Design, Assembly, Operations, Optimization, Testing and Dis-assembly
Thorough understanding of all ESP component failure modes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of 5 Whys Analysis and Fishbone Diagram Analysis
Expert in commonly used Microsoft office suite
Effective presentation skills.
