About the Position:
This position is responsible for the development of projects with moderate complexity or working on complex projects in cooperation as potentailly the sole representative of a process area. The incumbent seeks solutions to technical problems, conducts work on assigned tasks & exhibits asignificant level of knowledge and expertise. Responsible for Root Cause Failure Analysis, lubrication management, and PM.
Responsibilities:
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY

Develop and advise on new technical solutions to meet product requirements.

PROJECT MANGEMENT

Use known, and develop new, tools and stanadards for project execution.

Deliver to project objectives.

Provide expertise and advice that adds value to project planning.

Use project risk management process to manage risks.

Develop and create approaches to mitigate risk.

Advise on lessons learned.

Develop/advise/use creative approaches to execute projects.

Execute project closeout phase while developing the process.

Develop new methods for, and advise others on, project conflict resolutions.

Anticpate conflicts and develop contingency plans.
Education:
-
Bachelors degree in Science/Technology/Engineering/Math required
-
PE, PMP or similar engineering / project management certifications preferred
Experience:
-
5-8 years experience required.
-
Demonstrate continual learning as evidenced by professional licensing, advanced degree or, additional education/training.
-
Experince in working across divisions and with external organizations.
-
Completed cross-functional assignments or projects and/or at least 2 postitions within division, or completed plant assignment.
