Summary
We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support and ensure the efficient operation of end-user computing environments. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while maintaining system security and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage user accounts, password resets, and permissions in Active Directory.
- Support IT infrastructure, including video conferencing and office equipment.
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Provide basic training to users on software and IT policies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, hardware diagnostics, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with tools like Active Directory, SCCM, or Intune.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
- Relevant certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator (preferred).
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
