This is a strategic role requiring you to work with client executives as well as with cross-functional teams. As a Project Manager you provide project leadership, thought leadership, business judgment, and analytical insight to support customer centric initiatives globally. You drive implementation, executing your responsibilities while getting the best out of individuals throughout the company.
This position will be required to come into the office to work and with flexibility to work remotely as needed.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The Project Manager will function as an internal IT resource for the organization. The position will support divisional projects across Preventive Measures and report directly to the CIO. Candidate will work with various departments to implement, maintain, and strengthen the organization’s project management posture.
Principle Functions:
•Deliver enterprise and departmental projects to evolve and transform the learning experience for our client's customers and support agents across multiple products.
•Provide end to end leadership of projects from requirements definition to deployment, along with communication, issue and risk management.
•Scope, prioritize, and project manage initiatives to ensure a successful execution of projects.
•Develop compelling, insightful recommendations based on quality data analysis and lead execution against recommendations quickly and with flawless accuracy.
•Drive improvements to team processes, workflows, and strategy.
•Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company.
Requirements:
•Identifies, documents, coordinates, and proactively tracks cross dependencies related to integration work.
•Responsible for identifying any gaps in dependencies to requirements across integration teams.
•Creates project plans to document tasks and activities aligned to requirements to support Day 1+ requirements in MS Project Plan for assigned portfolio.
•Tracks risks and issues and communicates to integration teams, working through impediments and holding others accountable through resolution.
•Effectively communicates to leadership and key stakeholders the status of the program/ integration efforts.
•Tracks and reports status of critical path activities that are linked to RI strategy and objectives for assigned portfolio, Reporting.
•Ability to document business requirements and manage projects from inception to implementation.
•Proven experience in exercising project control methods such as: Scope, Issue, Risk, Schedule, Contract, Integration, Time, Cost, Quality, Resources, Communication and Stakeholder Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
•5+ years’ experience managing projects across functions like product, support, and engineering, to build sustainable processes and coordinate release schedules.
•Excellent project management, execution and planning skills, and ability to keep multiple priorities moving at the same time.
•Proven track record prioritizing multiple requests and managing/mitigating risks while transparently managing stakeholder expectations.
•Team-oriented work style with proven expertise in problem-solving and innovation.
•Excellent writing, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required with ability to influence.
•5+ years’ experience in influencing stakeholders at higher levels
•Ability to build flowcharts, business process models, mapping tools, data flow diagrams, and process flow diagrams.
Education / Experience
•Education
oBackground in Computer Science, Information Technically, or related field is strongly preferred.
oExperience with managing medium to large programs and projects.
•Certifications/Experience
oExisting certification or in pursuit to certify is strongly preferred:
PMP Certification
oExperience with working with development teams leveraging various methodologies [agile/waterfall].
