Systems Administrator

Job Summary :
As a Systems Administrator, your role is to install new software releases, and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve software-related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience
- BS in an IT field or an equivalent of 4 years work related IT experience
- US Citizen
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Expert with RedHat 7 and 8-based operating systems
- Expert with DISA STIGs to harder RedHat-based operating systems
- Proficient with RedHat Satellite
- Proficient with RedHat Virtualization
- Proficient with RedHat Openshift
- Proficient with Ansible
- IAT Level II certification requirements (One security certificate, one OS-based certificate)
- CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA CASP or CISSP
- CompTIA Linux or RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
Job Responsibilities:
The Systems Administrator will perform the following tasks:
- The Contractor shall develop and implement network, system, and user-level policies and procedures in compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), Risk Management Framework, and related DOD and USN guidance.
- Monitor system health, conduct routine repairs and system maintenance, and resolve issues as needed.
- Maintain a work log using an agency-provided ticket, project management, and change management systems.
- Manage core services including Microsoft Active Directory, e-mail, ticket systems, web services/servers, file systems/shares, patch management, system monitoring systems, mobile device management, in/out of band networks devices, multiple hypervisors, and related infrastructure systems.
- Produce documentation artifacts to support enclave and system accreditations.
- Provide on-site, and remote user support to NRL system users.
- Support E-Policy Orchestrator, host-based security system (HBSS), assured compliance assessment solution (ACAS) and other information assurance products.
- Configuration, monitoring, and management of Cisco, HP, and similar network switches, firewalls, and other devices.
- Document system, network, and security policy architecture, implementation, and lifecycle including but not limited to Visio architecture and data flow diagrams, standard operating procedure (SOP) documents, and tactics techniques and procedures (TTP) for common tasks.
