Our Client is seeking a resource to provide Network analysis, VoIP skills, -Troubleshooting services, Services to maximize network.
Potential, Services to improve operations, Documentation on installations and configurations, Consulting services, Installation services. Data and voice cabling services (Cat5e, Cat6, Fiber) with a focus on troubleshooting, Implementation services,
Configuration services, Customization services, Responses to customer inquiries and responses to trouble tickets. Engineer would work' approximately forty hours per week (more or less): -Majority of hours would be during normal business hours (7AM - 5 PM)
• Requires flexible schedule outside of normal business hours for installations, configuration changes, maintenance, upgrades and similar activities that could potentially interrupt business processes if conducted during prime business hours
• Requires emergency call-in (infrequent) but must be accessible outside of normal business hours (via Client supplied pager or other portable device such as a cell phone).
SCOPE OF WORK
• Work trouble tickets and Quality issues with OIT and CBTS, Looking into, exploring monitoring re-vamp & expansion, reviewing SNMPc for -missed- events.
• Change mail server on Internal SNMP, Investigate OSPF going across the Client network, integrate the 7K's and new DECAMAN connectivity into the Client network.
• Work with the WAN-MESH - Configuration, Testing, and Grooming. Required (3+ years of experience)
• Strong Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Background -In-Depth Knowledge and Significant Experience with TCP/IP;TCP/IP OSPF and BGP Routing Protocols, Cisco HSRP/GLBP
• Metropolitan Ethernet; Vlan Tagging
• Familiar with protocol analyzer software (and Wireshark) and able to interpret traces
• Knowledge and Experiences with: Windows 2008, 2012 Server network environment .Cisco iOS, Cisco 005, Cisco NX-OS -Cisco Switches/Routers (281 1. 29xO, 36xx, 3845, 4500, 65xx, 72xx, ASR1 000 series, Nexus 1000V, Nexus 2000, Nexus 5000, Nexus 70xx) -Cisco 6500 Sup 32, 6500 Sup 720 3b -Cisco 6500 Firewall Service Module -Cisco VPN (ASA) -Cisco WlSM, Cisco WLAN
• Microsoft Office Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) -Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project .Microsoft RPC protocols (troubleshooting and analysis)
• Network Monitoring Tools (HP OpenView, SNMPc, and Solar Winds) -Cabling and physical connectivity (Voice/Data, copper, fiber) (3+ years of experience):
• Knowledge and Experiences With: Load Balancing (F5 experience a bonus)
• Cisco CSACSE (TACAS+) -Microsoft Clustering (troubleshooting and analyzing network traffic)
• EASY-IP Address Management DNS (including Microsoft WINS and Active Directory Interaction)
• Compuware Application Vantage
• HP OpenView and Castlerock SNMPc network monitoring/management
Interview Process: Initial 15 minute phone call for 1st Round. 2nd round face to face or Skype Interview.
