IT System Administrator
Job Summary:
This is a very hands on position in which the successful candidate is responsible for co-managing of the IT Infrastructure amongsst various offices in North America and Europe, including but not limited to administering, maintaining and securing all networks, hardware, software, database, and information systems. This position has partial responsibility for implementing new technologies to enhance the long-term operational and strategic goals of the company.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for daily health check, monitoring, and security of internal environment including virtual hosts, application, mail and database servers, network switches and firewalls, remote access VPN, and users.
2. Administration and maintenance of Domain, Exchange, SQL and Application servers. Monitor daily performance and applies changes to improve performance.
3. Accountable for the internal help desk and ticket triage and responds to escalated help desk issues.
4. Accountable for maintaining up to date virus definitions on and scanning of all internal devices
5. Systems administration using Group Policy, Active Directory, and other Windows Administrative features
6. Oversee the administration of the company’s WAN, WLAN, Wi-Fi networks and remote access.
7. Maintain and monitor company’s backup on premise and offsite
8. Support key applications for company and learn to enhance features using proprietary tools for better usability
9. Manage IT on-boarding procedures and oversee all aspects to provide end users a smooth transition
10. Manage projects within deadlines and provides weekly project status reports to manager
11. Manage company assets and inventory accurately and provide bi-annual reports to management
12. Ensure all IT SOPs are up to date and readily available for all staff and employees
13. Provides “on call” (after hours, weekend and holiday) support as needed.
14. Performs all other duties as requested.
Hiring Requirements (Education, experience, certifications, etc.) – Must Have
• Experience of 5+ years in Windows platform (Server and Client-side)
• Experience of 3+ years in Miraki or similar networking appliances (firewalls, routers, switches, etc.) is required
• High-Level of communication (written and verbal)

• Solid knowledge & experience with Microsoft 365
