Job Title: Senior Solution Architect
Location: Cleveland, OH
Note: This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa. This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week and has the option to work remotely two days a week.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop high-level and detailed solution architecture designs, including technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Accountable for technical decisions, documentation, and direction for high-level designs and approaches.
- Provide solutions based on Reference Digital Integration Layer, tying together various technology components across the globe.
- Design Microservices Technology platforms with a strong focus on reusability.
- Conduct proof-of-concept on the latest trends in digital transformation and apply them to the organization's technology strategy.
- Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of technology solutions, addressing potential risks or issues.
- Provide gap, risk, and impact analysis.
- Identify solution accelerators to increase adoption of modernization.
Acquisition & Deployment:
- Monitor and manage the performance of deployed technologies and software products, ensuring they meet agreed-upon SLAs.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs for the deployment and operation of new technologies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with deployment, ensuring security and compliance requirements are met.
Operational Management:
- Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, implementing metrics to measure the effectiveness of technology architecture.
- Develop solutions to support cybersecurity strategies.
- Oversee deployment of new technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
Incidental Functions
- Participate in internal and external committees to share knowledge and promote best practices.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to improve technical skills among team members.
- Participate in hiring and talent management processes.
- Serve as a mentor to technical staff.
Qualifications:
Formal Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in IT.
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in driving solution architecture for large-scale ERP systems.
- Experience in Java/Spring Boot or similar platforms.
- Experience in designing integration solutions employing Microservices, Event-based integration layer, and data management layer.
- Strong technical background in key technology platforms, infrastructure, database, security, legal compliance rules, and software platforms.
- Experience with containers and orchestration platforms in the public/hybrid cloud model.
- Experience with Azure platform and services.
- Experience with DevOps and Agile engineering practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile product development experience.
- Experience with routing and messaging tools/patterns.
