Principal Sales Engineer
Location: Remote - looking for East Coast, Central, and West Coast based reps. There is 30% of travel through your assigned territory including going to trade shows, conferences, client sites, etc.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading technical sales efforts, providing deep technical expertise, and driving strategic initiatives to support the sales organization. You will work closely with sales (Account Executives and Account Managers) and product teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of their clients and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key accounts, providing expert guidance and support throughout the sales process.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and develop customized solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Pre-Sales Support: Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements to showcase the value of the company's solutions. You will be working alongside the Account Executive and Account Management teams to assist with their clients.
-You will also be working alongside Senior Leadership on Partner presentations and other stakeholders within the company to show case new updates on technology, new solutions, or potentially advocating for a new target market.
- Strategic Alignment: Work with sales leadership to develop and execute strategies that address market needs and drive revenue growth.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback on product enhancements and drive continuous improvement.
- Market Insight: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, with a proven track record of success in enterprise sales environments: both in a Pre Sales & Post Sales.
- Proven experience with AWS, Azure, VMware, or other cloud technologies
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of fraud authentication, identity access management, password protection, or something similar, and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and addressing client pain points.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior sales engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus: any cybersecurity certifications or courses.
