The CERT division of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), a federally funded research and development center at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, engages in state-of-the-art research and development and provides robust solutions focused on ensuring that software engineers, cybersecurity experts, network and system administrators, and others are able to resist, recognize, and recover from attacks on software systems.
The Applied Systems Group helps organizations apply best practices, tools, and techniques at the rate needed to keep pace with evolving opportunities, threats, and risks. The goal of the team is to provide expertise in a wide range of skills throughout the software development lifecycle with a focus on holistic cybersecurity and engineering approaches to software intensive systems. Working directly with sponsors and end users you will analyze customer requirements and provide novel solutions. You will also collaborate with sponsor’s technical staff throughout various phases of the development lifecycle and drive adoption by empowering sponsor to become self-sufficient.
