Claim Academy is a premier developer boot camp that offers immersive on-campus and online programs in software engineering and cybersecurity in St Louis.
Our mission is to change lives in 12-to 20 weeks with tracks in Java, C#/.Net, JavaScript and Cybersecurity designed to transform novices into industry-ready, software developers through rigorous coursework of pair programming, mentor sessions, and computer science industry programming techniques taught by expert instructors.
Participants complete their learning with multiple career coaching sessions, networking events, and soft skill training which culminates in a final capstone project where the students present to potential employers on the Demo Day and hiring event.
Extensive career training and placement assistance are provided, leading to many of our students receiving offers before they even graduate. We are fanatical about results for our students.

Role
The instructor will deliver approved curriculum through lecture and lab instruction to students.
As a Claim Academy Instructor:
- Provide instruction for our award-winning fullstack immersion developer program based on established curriculum and class syllabus.
- You will guide students through assigned course work and developing their projects.
- You’ll collaborate with the team to meet our mission of changing lives, and provide a friendly classroom environment.
- This will be a part time or full time role based in St. Louis, MO.
- This position reports to the Instruction Lead.
- As a Part-time instructor, working hours would be: 4 pm to 7 pm - M/W/F.
- Full-time Instructors would work 9 am to 6 pm - Monday through Friday.
- Responsibilities:
- Prepares materials for the approved curriculum.
- Work with students 1-on-1, in pairs and in groups to support their learning and growth in the program.
Prepares daily assignments.
- Participates in academy initiatives by providing regular, accurate, and timely feedback to students and the academy concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.
- Motivates students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process.
- Completes professional development and in-service activities in accordance with academy standards.
