In this critical role, you will oversee the design, development, integration, and implementation of IT strategies that align with our business objectives, driving our solution capabilities forward. Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the CIO, you will lead a talented global team of internal and partner-provided IT specialists. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Visionary Leadership: Provide strategic direction for the IT Solutions department, driving innovation and alignment with company goals.
- Innovative Solutions: Build, develop, and implement solutions to establish emerging markets.
- Technology Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of our payments platform.
- IT Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of robust IT solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Team Building: Build and mentor a high-performing team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners to deliver high-quality solutions and services.
- Cybersecurity: Implement best practices for cybersecurity and regulatory compliance across all IT operations and solutions.
- Budget Management: Manage IT budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation and expenditures to achieve maximum ROI.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse, hybrid IT group incorporating offshore, nearshore, and internal resources.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of 7+ years in IT Solutions leadership roles, with extensive experience in the payments industry or fintech sector.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, software development methodologies, and data management principles.
- Back-End Development: Strong experience in back-end development, focusing on creating and managing server logic, databases, and APIs.
- Leadership and Management: Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Hybrid Infrastructure: Adept at creating hybrid infrastructures that leverage internally developed solutions alongside best-of-breed SaaS and licensed software processes.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT Solutions strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving solutions and continuous improvement.
