As an Information Systems Security Manager, your main responsibility is safeguarding an organization's digital assets and data by developing, implementing, and overseeing security policies and procedures. You'll conduct risk assessments, monitor systems for breaches, and respond to security incidents. Additionally, you'll ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, educate staff on security best practices, and stay updated on emerging threats and security technologies.

- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Information Systems Security Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.

Information Systems Security Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Act as Risk Management Framework (RMF)/Cybersecurity Subject Matter Experts (SME) for all 82 TRW classroom technology
- Remotely review Det’s/GSU’s new system requirement that are processed at Sheppard 82 CONS
- Review all acquisition requirements to validate equipment and/or systems are authorized to be used.
- Assist with obtaining Authority to Operate (ATO) for systems that do not have an ATO
- Coordinate with information systems owners within the TRG’s performing RMF/Cybersecurity SMEs duties working at the system-level to complete tasks supporting and related to the RMF lifecycle (under the DoD, Air Force and AETC implementation of the RMF).
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Information Systems Security Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Security+ certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Information Assurance (IA) technology or a closely related area, preferably in the US Air Force, Military or DoD setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
