This team is dedicated to crafting the embedded board support package for all our devices and is actively engaged in critical architectural decisions related to processor selection, operating systems, tools, and network adaptation.
**Responsibilities**
This position pertains to an embedded architect responsible for developing embedded solutions for Digital, DC, and RF instrumentation, which are integral to our semiconductor test equipment. The role involves leadership within a geographically distributed development team consisting of both seasoned and junior engineers. Furthermore, the candidate will assume the role of a technical lead in collaboration with the instrument teams. One of the key responsibilities is to uphold the security of embedded networks in our systems.
**Basic Qualifications & Skills**
The ideal candidate should possess a wealth of experience spanning 10-15 years in the following domains:
1. Extensive background in developing embedded Linux systems, particularly on Power PC or ARM processors.
2. Proven expertise in embedded architecture development.
3. A strong grasp of diverse network protocols and interfaces.
4. Proficiency in the development of Board Support Package (BSP) applications.
5. Familiarity with software development processes.
6. A track record of project leadership.
7. Experience in leading and managing small teams.
8. Knowledge of embedded cybersecurity.
**Education**
A bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), or a related field is a prerequisite. In addition, candidates should bring to the table a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in embedded architecture development.
