Job Description:
Our client is looking for a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and play a crucial role, aimed at generating new business, building relationships, and expanding our presence in cyber-security. This position involves managing the entire sales cycle and engaging with multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Responsibilities:
Act primarily independently to source and cultivate new prospective clients. 100% emphasis on net new business
Attend required training
Develop a pipeline of business equivalent to 3-4 times the annual quota through the pursuit of marketing leads, networking, partner referrals, personal contacts, LinkedIn activity, and events
Follow-up on all deal calls, meetings, or emails within 3 business days of activity.
Schedule appointments with prospective customers who are ready for sales conversations to understand their IT needs.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $100,000 per year paid semi-monthly
Commission
New sales totaling up to $100,000 cumulative monthly recurring revenue in the prior 12 months
5% of monthly recurring revenue won paid monthly
New sales beyond $100,000 cumulative monthly recurring revenue in the prior 12 months
10% of monthly recurring revenue won above $100,000 / month paid monthly

Projected Year 1 Earnings: $171,250 ($100,000 salary + $71,250 commission)
Projected Year 2 Earnings: $239,500 ( $100,000 salary + $139,500 commission)
