Essential Requirements:

Required Experience:
- Minimum twelve (12) years related experience
- Experience in cybersecurity topics, including fundamental concepts and protocols in computer networking, risk management processes, and cybersecurity principles and ethics. In addition, their knowledge must encompass understanding of cyber threats and vulnerabilities, incident response methodologies, and network security architecture
- Familiarity in specific areas, such as operating systems, database management, encryption algorithms, system life cycle management, software development life cycle, and penetration testing principles
- Comprehensive knowledge base is essential for managing and securing information systems, analyzing network traffic, and responding to cybersecurity incidents effectively
- Skills in developing and deploying signatures, detecting host and network-based intrusions using intrusion detection technologies like Snort, and determining how a security system should work, including its resilience and dependability capabilities
- Adept at evaluating the adequacy of security designs, using incident handling methodologies and protocol analyzers, and protecting networks against malware
- Skilled in conducting vulnerability scans, data searches, and trend analysis, as well as recognizing vulnerabilities in security systems and analyzing malicious activity to determine weaknesses and exploitation methods
Education and Certifications:
- A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university
- Sr. Certifications: CySA+ or CBROPS or CFR or FITSP-O or GCIA or GDSA or GICSP or GCFA
- Mid Certifications: GFACT or GISF or Cloud+ or GCED or PenTest+ or Security+ or GSEC
