The Role
We are seeking a Network Engineer/SysAdmin to administer and support our Engineering and Development Infrastructure. This position will work out of our Medina office and be responsible to oversee internal and customer IT systems from security, stability, performance, and overall user experience. This role also takes specific IT areas mentioned above and applies into internal projects for end users including troubleshooting and triage of systems.
Your Impact
- Administer and support Engineering and Development Infrastructure including:
- Daily VM Administration/Maintenance.
- Malware/User security implementation on all systems.
- System Forecasting.
- System Troubleshooting.
- Minimize downtime to prevent Development/Engineering Downtime.
- Create project plans, presentations, documentation to support end users as well as security audits.
- Ensure platforms support ISO security compliance & data retention policies.
- Work with Cybersecurity on vulnerability remediation to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Support certificate management platform.
- Management of DNS and related systems.
- Prevent internal/external internet access at only appropriate and approved connectivity.
- Design, build and maintain VMWare ESXi, vCenter and virtualization environments.
- Advanced Administration of Windows Desktop & Server, and Linux platforms.
- Support a wide variety of internal tools including JIRA integration, GitHUB, as well as other in-house custom tools for maximum up-time and availability.
What You'll Need
- 3-5 years working in a software development organization (e.g. DevOps).
- Detailed knowledge of Network Architecture/Design w/ Security Principals.
- VMWare Administration w/ Local and SAN based systems.
- SAN Design and Support.
- Experience with PowerShell, LDAP, Active Directory, Azure, file transfer protocols, API’s and troubleshooting dataflows.
- Bachelor's 4 year degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT Management, or Computer Engineering.
