- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in systems engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant topics.
- Fifteen (15) years of related, proven experience performing similar duties.
- Proven experience with creation and management of hardware drawings to specify facility hardware and HVAC requirements, server room layouts, rack elevation diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with system-level architectural design of software, hardware, and networked systems.
- Experience with model-based systems engineering and usage of modeling standards such as SYSML, UML, etc. to represent views of hardware and software systems.
- Experience developing and maintaining system and software installation documentation.
- Experience working government programs with controlled engineering baselines.
- Intermediate level knowledge of computer networking and IT Service Management best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work within teams.
- Strong organizational skills.
- U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance eligibility.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with a focus in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of related, proven experience performing similar duties.
- Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies.
- Effective communication skills; ability to accurately convey project status, identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and to express technical ideas to senior decision makers.
- Advanced knowledge of IT Service Management best practices
- Intermediate level knowledge of cybersecurity, including common risks to IT systems and of enterprise IT concepts, architectures, and systems (compute, network, storage).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and Git.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and tools.
