The Opportunity: Process Improvement Analyst
Location: Reston, VA
Position Summary:
The Level 3 Process Improvement Analyst will provide consulting and recommendations to managers, supervisors, and the workforce on the implementation of quality and process improvement initiatives. Develops and facilitates discovery sessions, planning meetings, training sessions, and facilitates process improvement meetings. Proposes, tailors, and develops quality/process re-engineering improvement efforts (to include the applicable documentation) to provide return-on-investment or operational improvement. Conducts benchmarking, activity modeling, and surveys. Gathers, analyzes, and quantifies performance data and measurements. Able to gather data and work with technical subject matter experts. Works with technical subject matter experts. Provides document quality assurance, support to Governance boards and working groups, and is responsible for requirements management documentation and approval workflows. Creates and approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cybersecurity and integration of recent technologies. Supports Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance prior to start
- Fully Certified IAW DoD 8570 IAT Level II
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education related to specific functional area. Demonstrated substantive knowledge and considerable experience relevant to the functional area of at least eight (8) years (may substitute 4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, or substitute Master’s degree in lieu of 2 years of experience)
- Experience collaborating with staff at all experience levels to deliver short-term, medium-term, and long-term commitments
- Demonstrated experience completing and coordinating tasks across cross-functional teams in either a lead or supporting role
- Success with providing coaching and mentoring to lower-level team members
Experience leading, developing, and delivering exceptionally complex capabilities and processes in one or more of the following areas:
- Demonstrated experience in consulting with a specialization in cross-functional and cross-organization integration, processes, policy, and continual service improvement
- Providing process engineering support expertise to improve efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery. Experience capturing requirements, capabilities, and plans
- Understanding and appropriately representing equities across organizations. Experience with formal documentation draft, review, finalization, and document control
- Analyzing processes and re-engineering alternatives, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future operating environment
- Has specialized experience in modeling business processes and requirements (using structured tools and techniques, i.e., use-case scenarios) and integrating them with data and system architectural models and requirements
- Proficient experience with Cyber Network Defense (CND), analytics, risk assessment, visualization, and reporting. Understanding of Government Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations requirements for cyber service delivery
