The Role
We are now looking for a dynamic and results-driven Channel Account Manager to join our team in the US. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and growing relationships with new and existing channel partners to drive sales and revenue.
You will lead the development and execution of strategic plans to achieve sales targets in your territory, provide training and support to partners, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure partner success and satisfaction.
You have a deep understanding of the channel sales model, excellent communication skills and a strong background in channel sales within SaaS companies. You are a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for growth and work effectively in a dynamic environment. You are passionate about building strong relationships and driving business success through channel partnerships.
The role carries a sales quota.
You will report into our Global Head of Channel. You will be based our of our office in St. Pete, FL.
The preferred start date for this role is January 2025. We will start reviewing applications mid-October.
Your day-to-day
- Manage and grow existing relationships with US channel partners
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new opportunities and partnerships to drive long-term growth within channel
- Co-develop and execute on strategic plans for your territory to achieve sales targets
- Manage partner onboarding, training sessions, and monthly/quarterly business reviews
- Coordinate access to online and onsite training on new products, solution sets, Heimdal corporate vision, value proposition, etc.
- Manage all aspects of partner forecasting and pipeline with your manager and your partners; provide reporting and analytical data to track and measure your performance against your monthly and annual targets
- Provide reporting and analytical data to your partners in order to support and drive achievement of their partner program status
- Work closely with the global sales- and channel team to ensure alignment and collaboration
- Establishing strong customer relationships at all levels, advanced solution selling capabilities, conducting sales presentations, and leveraging all available resources to grow the channel in your territory
- Be keenly aware of the channel partners' strategy and be viewed and treated as a trusted advisor and valued resource for them.

What you bring to the team
- 3+ years of experience in channel sales, selling SaaS solutions
- Previous experience in IT/cyber security and a good understanding of the security and threat vendor landscape
- A deep understanding of the channel sales model
- Proven track record of consistent success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong business acumen and the ability to become the trusted advisor to partners
- Experience with Salesforce.com and other sales/productivity tools.
