Senior Enterprise Architect - High-Impact Role in IT and Cybersecurity Architecture
We're looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect to drive high-level architecture and security solutions for compartmented IT ecosystems. Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Architecture & Security
- Align departmental goals with architecture frameworks to support strategic investments in IT.
- Work alongside the Cyber Team to design and implement cybersecurity solutions with COTS tools in distributed data centers.
- Standards & Consistency
- Develop repeatable, interoperable standards that ensure uniformity across compartmented systems.
- Generate technical documentation and standards for consistent enterprise-wide implementation.
- Solution Development & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead design workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Assess and address design gaps, balancing business needs with security requirements.
- Map COTS product data elements to logical data models for coherent data structure alignment.
- Project Management & Strategic Planning
- Estimate and manage solution costs for procurement.
- Partner internally to create strategic architecture, engineering, and integration plans.
- Provide regular project updates, risk management, and feedback to senior leadership.
Required Skills

Clearance: Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields.

Experience:
- 8+ years in large-scale IT project management, with at least 2 years leading enterprise-wide IT solutions.
- 5+ years in DoD Information Technology and IT Enterprise Architecture.
- 3+ years in policy development and requirements generation.

Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and EA modeling tools (e.g., Cameo/NoMagic).
Desired Skills

Specialized Experience:
- Experience with Special Access Programs, OSD, Joint Staff, or Service Staff level.
- Proven track record in data security standards and CDO strategy alignment.
- Strong capability in COTS solution implementation across data centers and cloud environments.

Technical & Security Expertise:
- Background in cloud platforms, network infrastructure, identity management, SIEM, and mobile security.
- Hands-on experience with emerging cybersecurity trends and compliance with federal mandates.

- Ability to guide project teams, engage diverse stakeholders, and deliver strategic outcomes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills tailored to various audiences.
