▪ Prepare program/project briefings, plans, concept papers, white papers, meeting minutes, action item reports, and other required program planning documentation.
▪ Perform operational, administrative, and executive functions for external/internal Project/Program Managers.
▪ Analyze and evaluate projects and/or programs to provide project and program managers information to be used in planning, monitoring, and resource allocation including financial and contractual data.
▪ Collaborate with Supervisor Shipbuilding, Program Office, NAVSEA Warfare Centers, Shipyard, In-Service Engineering Agents, Suppliers, Ship’s Crew and other organizations to solve complex problems.
▪ Support one or more of the following program/project areas: program management, operations, contract management, business and financial management, earned value management, configuration management, data management, quality control, cybersecurity, information assurance, and risk management framework.
▪ Develop plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements.
▪ Develop and maintain electronic information and databases concerning the installation, operation, maintenance, and alteration of shipboard equipment.
▪ Analyze various data to identify problems and trends.
▪ Review contractual requirements and participate in defining project and/or program requirements.
▪ Perform schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate project/program cost and scheduling risks.
▪ Develop evaluation methodology and collect and analyze data to determine extent to which goals, objectives and requirements are being met.
▪ Implement strategies for deploying and implementing new program planning policy initiatives and measure effectiveness of implementation.
▪ Create queries and produce custom reports from databases.
▪ Develop documentation, reports, and project plans and prepare and present briefings.
▪ Coordinate, facilitate and/or lead project/program meetings and events.
▪ Perform supervisor duties and train junior analysts.
