About the Job
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact? We are looking for an Account Executive to come join a growing cybersecurity company this year. This position will be dedicated to hunting net new logos within Fortune 500 companies to drive business forward.
Location: Fully remote, but we are hoping to find those Account Executives that are within EST to MST timezones currently.
Compensation: 75,000K base to 95,000K base with 75,000 to 95,000 in commissions - OTE = 150,000K to 190,000K
About the Company:
This cybersecurity company specializes in privileged access management (PAM) and identity access management software (IAM). This company is looking for a new Account Executive to take on net new logos alongside a team of established Account Executives. Based on your location - you would be assigned a territory that you'd exclusively attack. With support from Business Development Reps, Sales Engineers, and Marketing, this position is set up for success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Drive sales and revenue by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their security needs and providing tailored solutions from the company's suite of cybersecurity offerings.
- Market Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, and technologies to effectively communicate the company's value proposition to potential clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, pre-sales engineering, and product teams to deliver a seamless experience for clients.
- Pipeline Development: Proactively manage the sales pipeline, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and deal closure.
- Reporting: Track and report on sales activities and outcomes, using CRM tools to provide accurate forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-5+ years of B2B software sales experience, ideally in the cybersecurity industry or similar such as: data management, compliance/security, or authentication software.
- CRM Usage: Have experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, etc.
- Track Record: Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear, customer-centric manner.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand customer pain points and craft effective solutions.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies, threat intelligence, cloud security, network security, or related fields is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
