Essential Function:
We are looking for a motivated Software Development Intern who is eager to learn and apply their skills in real-world applications. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience with C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.NET, and to work alongside experienced developers in a collaborative environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and test software applications.
- Learn and develop applications using C#, ASP.NET, or MVC.NET frameworks.
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles using languages like C++, C#, or Java.
- Assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading of existing systems.
- Contribute to team meetings and provide input on project direction.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous IT experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and experience with C++, C# or Java.
- Willingness and readiness to learn C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.NET.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git/DevOps.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Agile development methodologies.
This position is onsite in Ohio and pays between $20-23/hour.
