We are looking for a team member with the following skills and experience:
- Expertise developing high-performance web application backends using Python and web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid
- Experience with Python data analysis libraries such as NumPy and pandas
- Proficiency with web UI/UX design and development with React and JavaScript
- Experience developing automated unit tests and end-to-end tests
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience developing with relational databases, such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Understanding of web application security risks and mitigations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify potential problems, and recommend solutions
- Relevant professional experience and/or a computer science or engineering degree
Additional preference is given for the following:
- Experience developing applications for cloud-based platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies and libraries, such as OpenAI, Gemini, Tensorflow, Scikit-learn, and spaCy
- Exposure to networking and security concepts and technologies
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with enterprise management and performance engineering concepts
- Active US Secret or Top Secret clearance
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field
