As a Cloud Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Data Pipeline team, your role involves being a key contributor to an agile team, tasked with designing and implementing top-tier technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your responsibilities include executing crucial technology solutions across a range of technical areas within diverse business functions, all in alignment with the firm's business goals.
Job responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Ensure for timely and high-quality delivery.
- Support the Production, Simulation, QA and Development environments.
- Work with the team to design, develop and maintain various pricing systems.
- Drive innovation and adaption of best practices
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action
- plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Manage defect tracking system and resolve all issues and prepare update for systems.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proven skills and programming experience in Java, J2EE, multithreading, REST, Data Caching Services, DB schema design, and data access technologies.
- Knowledge of Spring, Spring boot, and Hibernate.
- Previous experience designing ecosystems for Web applications & API Platforms.
- Experience in building, orchestrating, and deploying highly scalable REST-based stateless APIs/web services for web applications.
- Experience with Public Cloud Technologies (AWS)
