Job Summary:
Experienced Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) software engineer needed for development efforts and maintenance activities.
Essential Functions:
The candidate should have experience configuring, extending, and supporting the OFSAA LRM.
The candidate should also have extensive development expertise with Oracle forms and PL/SQL databases, including stored procedures, database triggers and database packages. A willingness to work in a fluid environment with high adaptability to change is a must for this position. The candidate should also be able to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams with direction from senior management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position
Designing, implementing and supporting business processes and analytical solutions with OFSAA in an Enterprise environment.
Collaborates with business users to analyze Business Requirements and implement appropriate configuration and application parameters in the OFSAA solution
Provide technical expertise on overall architecture and strategy of the current Oracle systems
Design, develop, analyze and implement solution Extensions as required using OFSAA framework.
Produce technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in OFSAA Infrastructure, OFSAA Data Model
In-depth knowledge of development using Oracle (including 11g) and OBIEE.
Understanding of data modelling using ERWin is preferred.
Understanding of OFSAA DIH framework
In-depth knowledge of Oracle DB and OBIEE Architectures, relation modelling, SQL & PL/SQL programming, Oracle SQL Performance Tuning.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an IT-related field with 4-5 years related experience
Broad understanding of Banking and risk management and experience in implementing Capital or Liquidity regulatory framework for banks (Basel III and Dodd Frank Stress Tests)
In-depth understanding of Dimensions, hierarchies and attributes as it applies to OFSAA modules.
Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis to maintain transparency on work efforts and to ensure design and implementation is understood by all team participants
Must possess organizational, problem-solving skills and time management skills and be able to meet deadlines.
Effective verbal and written communicator, able to adapt delivery style and language to suit the audience. Able to present complex issues and solutions to mixed audiences, where necessary resolving conflict and complexity by delivering practical solutions.
