Job Description:
- Contribute towards the backend development, testing, maintenance and integration of applications / systems
- Use patterns and leverage modern frameworks to build, maintain, and implement our solutions
- Gain knowledge of various development approaches and assisting with the design of ground-up projects and enhancements
- Collaborate across business areas and have an awareness of related objectives and challenges
- Communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Evaluate options and the performance tradeoffs / benefits
- Focus on accuracy and quality, while delivering the highest quality code.
Requirements:
- 3+ years professional experience in the following:
- Java, Spring / Spring Boot, SQL, APIs, microservices and integration
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Groovy (desired)
- Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Develops unit tests and uses version control
- Understands the Agile mindset and iterative development process
- Adheres to coding quality standards
- Team problem solving through communication and collaboration
- Positive adaptation to competing priorities
- Driven to pick-up new tech through research and investigation
