Responsibilities
* Lead front end software development for one or more products
* Build cross-platform applications targeting both desktop and mobile
* Work closely with machine learning engineers, product managers, and others to shape the products and their software architectures
Requirements
* Mastery of JavaScript
* Strong understanding of web technologies and Android development
* Strong software engineering skills
* Passion for building user interfaces that delight users and solve customer problems
* Understanding of best practices for data visualization
* Experience with one or more front end development frameworks (React, React Native, Angular, Electron)
* Portfolio of progressively impressive front end development projects
* Good taste in visual design, UI, and UX
* Clear and honest communications
* Love learning new things

* Comfortable with remote work
* Authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Desirable Skills
* Full-stack development, including the design and development of APIs and backend databases and services
* Experience with TypeScript
* Familiarity with Python

* D3.js and related libraries
* Prior experience developing mapping or geographic information systems (GIS), using the SDKs and APIs provided by: NASA WorldWind, Apple MapKit, and/or Google Maps
