Rockstar is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Information Security GRC Director who will be responsible for building and leading a team of security experts to drive key, strategic programs that mitigate risk in a scalable way.
This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.
WHAT WE DO
- The Rockstar Security team is responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Rockstar’s sensitive intellectual property and data.
- We foster a security culture across all teams and disciplines at Rockstar, providing policy, standards, guidance, and awareness training to everyone.
- Work closely with departments across the company to understand their workflows and help ensure they are following best security practices.
- We work with technology stakeholders to assess our posture, build controls, and mitigate security risks.
- Our team is on the front-line of monitoring, detecting, and responding to security related incidents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Governance
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT governance frameworks and practices aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Lead the team that develops and delivers IT training/awareness/educational information to technology teams.
- Ensure security tools are properly deployed.
Risk and Compliance
- Create and implement department strategies and roadmaps for cybersecurity risk management including risk reporting.
- Lead risk assessments and audits, identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Identify key risk indicators (KRIs) for the cyber risk management strategy, to continually monitor our cyber program's risk posture and health.
- Develop and maintain IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Manage compliance efforts across the organization, ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and standards.
Security Architecture
- Work closely with our IT department to harden our infrastructure using best practices and integrate security into the software development lifecycle and infrastructure provisioning processes.
- Provide expertise and guidance on security-related matters, including encryption, authentication, access control, and secure communication protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity
- 5+ years managing teams
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity architectures, best practices, policies and standards
- Proven ability to develop, build and drive multiple security programs including building a mature risk management program
- Extensive experience leading teams and broader organizations to reduce risk and collectively tackle complex security issues
SKILLS
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working with global partners.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans.
- Comfort with ambiguity and able to drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

$183,800 - $239,000 USD
