In this role you will have the opportunity to:
• Provide system architecture and hardware, operating system, software, and LAN configuration recommendations to the LAN Architect, System Integrator(s), and management that will enable the development and production environments to advance and evolve to meet changing requirements.
• Work closely with the Application Developer, LAN Architect, and System Integrator to ensure new applications, processes, and tools function optimally across the systems and conform to the security requirements for those systems.
• Provide system engineering expertise to help troubleshoot performance issues and debug application failures on the systems, and propose and develop solutions for those issues
• Directly assist the Application Developer(s) in the creation, deployment and interoperability of new applications and tools on the LAN and other systems that are part of the program, using primarily, but not limited to PERL, C, C++, C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Python programming languages
• Provide oversight to the Application Developer(s) and help prioritize and direct development activities in consultation with management
• Assist the LAN architect in various duties related to LAN maintenance, including but not limited to account administration, software patching, performance enhancement, and the creation of scripts that assist in process automation and maintenance.
Basic Qualifications
• Lead development of new applications, tools, and processes within COTS standalone and web-based software products
• Scripting repetitive tasks like parsing, converting, translating file formats
• Experience in LAN maintenance, including but not limited to the creation of scripts or processes
• Experience interfacing with external teams to identify tools for integration
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and deploying REST and/or GraphQL API's
• Experience developing in containerized environment
• Working knowledge of enterprise architectures, networking concepts and network debugging
• A professional technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Desired skills
• Working knowledge of GIS and 3D GIS in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Portal, and GIS Desktop

Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $134,300 - $257,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
