Come learn more about who we are at https://blackwood.ai The position of Presales Cybersecurity Senior Solutions Engineer serves as an integral piece of the sales cycle. Our engineering SMEs own the entirety of the technical aspects of the sales cycle to achieve the technical “Win” for the customer. A significant portion of your job responsibilities include coordinating with sales reps, customers, and/or partners as part of developing often large and complex technical solutions. This is a remote work position that will support 2 sales territories. Ohio & Michigan are one territory; the other is TBD but will be eastern time zone based. Being located near an airport is favorable.
Other Duties	Attending sales meetings Leading technical discussions 20%-30% travel Discussing modern security solution strategies with executive and/or deeply technical customer audiences while factoring in customer ecosystem and operating parameters Performing technology demonstrations Attaining and maintain applicable technical certifications
Required Qualifications	US Citizen Willingness to permit a Background Check Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience Desire and ability to learn new COTS Technologies Excellent Presentation and Written Communication Skills Strong time management skills Passion to hustle and have fun Ability to articulate security concepts to a variety of technical/non-technical audiences 15+ years combined experience in InfoSec, IT Operations, Networking teams or Sales Engineering
Desired Qualifications	Expert/significant experience with one or more technologies on our line card Some experience across Splunk, Gigamon, Palo Alto Networks, Infoblox, CrowdStrike, Snowflake, Zscaler, or FireEye System administration or programing language experience A reasonable sense of humor
