As a Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Employee Platforms Technology Controls organization, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various software applications and platform products. Job responsibilities
- Provide guidance and cultivates skills for immediate team of architects on daily tasks and activities.
- Sets overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration.
- Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements.
- Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements.
- Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect, and prioritizes diverse representation.
- Define the technical target state of the product architecture and design and drives achievement of the strategy.
- Participating in threat modelling to identify vulnerabilities in product design and identifying control recommendations to mitigate those risks.
- Identify security risks and emerging threats associated with the product as well as any dependencies.
- Identify key security risks and emerging threats associated with the product, technology stack, and customer base.
- Participates in evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of cybersecurity designs, technical approaches for integration with existing systems and cybersecurity architecture.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on architectural security patterns and/or frameworks concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Experience leading and running technical teams of architects and/or engineers.
- Experience developing architectural security patterns and/or frameworks, particularly involving the M365 platform and suite of services, Microsoft Purview, together with development of Proof of Concepts to validate pattern/framework required for the role
- Experience producing threat models as it relates to enterprise collaboration products
- Strong experience with PowerShell and MS Graph to interface with Azure and other M365 functions.
- Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods required for the role
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge as it relates to M365 technologies, Azure, Power platform, preferred for the role
- Excellent command of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, threats and vulnerabilities preferred for the role
- Practical experience of applying M365 security controls in an enterprise environment.
