DescriptionAs a Cybersecurity Analyst, you play a critical role in safeguarding Rheem’s network infrastructure. Your role is responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of network systems, protecting against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
This position will serve our Enterprise Division located in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid).
Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation:
- Develop and maintain network security solutions leveraging existing and necessary network infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software, and cryptography systems.
- Configure and deploy security policies and controls within firewalls and edge SDWAN provider
- Integrate key network security logging and use cases within existing SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing security products.
- Policy Development and Enforcement:
- Create and enforce security policies to mitigate risks.
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Respond to security incidents promptly and effectively.
- Collaboration and Technical Support:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across Rheem.
- Educate users and colleagues on technical matters related to network security.
- Assist in maintaining operating systems and security software.
- Maintenance and Availability Enhancement:
- Assist with installation, changes, and configuration of LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure (e.g., Cisco devices).
- Monitor network availability and execute maintenance tasks.
- Security Best Practices:
- Audit router, switch, and firewall configurations.
- Coordinate log analysis for managed services to meet Rheem’s security requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CCNA Security.
- 7+ years of experience in network security design, implementation, and maintenance.
- 7+ years of experience with antivirus, intrusion detection/prevention, and SIEM tools.
- Knowledge of VPNs, SSL, and application control.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams.
- Ability to anticipate security risks and take preventive action.
