DescriptionThe candidate will have experience providing engineering solutions to meet security compliance. The cybersecurity engineer will work across multiple development teams to ensure solutions, architectures and designs incorporate security best practices. The candite will be required to work across the project team, providing guidance and advisement on the programs overall security approach. The cybersecurity engineer will work with stakeholders and other organizations to coordinate security at hosting center and to ensure that interfaced systems meet security standards.
Requirements - 3+ years of experience and bachelors degree
- DoD 8570 compliance, Comptia Security +CE
- Experience with Security Content Automation Protocol
- Experience with RMF
- Experience with RedHat Linux
- Experience with security scans and escalation procedures to response to incidents
- Experience with security management controls
- Experience with NIST, JSIG, ICD 503 and STIGs
- Experience with leading detection and security scanning tools
- Ability to maintain and publish security documentation required for program reviews
