As Vice President within Cybersecurity & Tech Controls you will be an integral part of the team that supports our Merger & Acquisition activity while working in partnership with Asset Wealth and Management and Global Technology.
Job responsibilities
- Support the Merger & Acquisition activity with IT and Cyber risk identification and control of infrastructure and applications of the acquisitions.
- Advice on Security controls around the adoption of new technology and integration with internal systems.
- Support requests from control functions such as internal and external IT audit in line with regulatory expectations as well as company-wide standards.
- Assist with training and spreading technology risk and control awareness within the acquisitions, while building strong relationships and becoming a trusted risk and controls partner within the firm
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced knowledge of multiple technology controls and experience working across large environment, including process-focused methodologies for IT-related activities (change management, incident management, SLDC etc.)
- Proficiency in information security domains, including policies and standards, risk and control assessments, access controls, regulatory compliance, technology resiliency, risk and control governance and metrics, incident management, secure systems development lifecycle, vulnerability management, and data protection
- Ability to set and drive the business' strategic direction to deliver technology that meets internal and external needs
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate and present security risk concepts with business and technology partners.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Relevant certifications: CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CRISC (Certified in Risk Management) and CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- Financial industry background preferred
