Job Overview
We are actively seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our dynamic cybersecurity team, dedicated to supporting critical national security initiatives for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). This pivotal role involves safeguarding vital infrastructure and delivering secure IT solutions that align seamlessly with organizational goals. As a key contributor, you will lead the charge in overseeing multiple cybersecurity-focused IT projects, ensuring effective risk management and the integration of cybersecurity measures into each initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead and manage a portfolio of cybersecurity IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Integrate comprehensive cybersecurity measures into all IT projects to safeguard critical infrastructure and mitigate risks.
- Monitor project milestones, convey progress updates, and effectively communicate project value to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business unit leaders, and the project management office to drive measurable, results-oriented outcomes.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including management plans, communication strategies, risk mitigation strategies, and configuration management documents.
Required Skills
- Extensive knowledge of IT architecture models, system life cycle management, and cloud computing principles.
- Proficient in conducting capabilities and requirements analysis, aligning technology solutions with business needs.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Skilled in identifying and managing risks, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in hands-on IT project management, particularly in delivering cloud-enabling capabilities.
- Proven expertise in project oversight, risk management, and team coordination.
- Educational background: Associate’s degree in a technical field with 10 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
- A technical foundation related to classified cybersecurity operations is highly preferred.
- PMP and Agile certifications are strongly favored.

Compensation And Benefits
- Competitive salary range: \(155,000 - \)190,000 per year.
