Job Details:
Job Title: Network Security Architect Specialist
Location: Downey, CA, 90242, (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay rate: $120/hrs. on W2
Shift Time: 8am to 5pm
Experience Preferred:
- Minimum five years of experience in network security engineering, specifically with data center networking and cloud architecture.
- Demonstrated at least one year of experience in firewall migrations from Cisco to Palo Alto.
- One year experience working independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
- One year working within multiple cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
Skills Preferred:
- Strong experience with Routing & Switching, Data Center Fabric/Cisco ACI Management.
- Hands-on experience in Hybrid Cloud networking with on-prem, AWS, Azure, and GCP, including Megaport and BGP network design & implementation.
- Proven expertise in migrating from Cisco to Palo Alto firewalls.
- Solid understanding of network security practices and policies. Strong BGP Protocols and understanding designing failover architecture
Additional Note:
- We will require that the candidate is local within Los Angeles County as the need to come into the office will be needed during network changes,
- We will issue a County Laptop for the nature of the work and the candidate must return the device after their contract is completed.
- The candidate must be willing to work overtime and will need to participate in an on-call rotation.
