Job Description:
We are looking for a Network Security Specialist with hands-on experience working with Trellix (formerly McAfee) security products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network security solutions to protect our critical infrastructure and sensitive data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our security systems are robust, reliable, and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy and Configure Trellix Products: Install, configure, and manage Trellix security solutions (e.g., Trellix Endpoint Security, Network Security, and SIEM solutions).
Network Security Architecture: Design and implement security measures for network infrastructure, ensuring robust defenses against cyber threats.
Threat Detection and Response: Monitor network traffic, identify potential security risks, and respond to incidents using Trellix tools and other security technologies.
Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend improvements to strengthen the network security posture.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, security teams, and other stakeholders to integrate Trellix solutions with existing infrastructure.
Security Auditing and Reporting: Perform security audits and generate reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Documentation and Training: Maintain clear documentation of security systems and provide training to staff on the use of security tools and best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Trellix security products, including but not limited to Trellix Endpoint Security, ESM (Enterprise Security Manager), and SIEM solutions.
Strong background in network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, VPNs, and other security technologies.
Experience with network architecture, design, and security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.).
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS.
Hands-on experience with network monitoring and threat detection tools.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network security issues in real-time.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Trellix-specific certifications are a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
