Role: Junior Cyber Security Engineer
Location: Philadelphia, PA (hybrid)
FULL TIME
Responsibilities
- Analyze, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement secure architecture and design practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document remediation strategies and best practices.
- Investigate new technologies to enhance security measures.
- Lead technical discussions and communicate outcomes effectively.
- Align remediation actions with development schedules and monitor progress.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity or vulnerability management.
- Proficiency in Python scripting on Linux and familiarity with cloud-native technologies.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Prisma Cloud).
- Strong understanding of secure design principles, Agile development, and threat modeling.
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Relevant certifications (AWS, ISC2, GIAC, etc.).
