Role: Network Administrator
Location: Bartlett, IL(Onsite)

As a Network Administrator at our client, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's network infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient data communication across multiple locations. Working within the fast-paced and dynamic environment of freight forwarding, you will oversee network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize connectivity for our global logistics operations. Your role will be crucial in supporting the seamless flow of data between departments, clients, and partners, enabling the efficient movement of goods worldwide.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. World wide support of user?s hardware and software needs
2. Research new technologies that will help the companies be more efficient and keep our systems up to date.
3. Install, configure, maintain, and support all servers and desktops.
4. Configuration of servers in Microsoft?s Hyper-V.
5. Create computer images for deployment on all desktops and laptops.
6. Maintain backup systems, VPNs, Firewalls, switches and anti-virus.
7. Support and maintain applications such as
a. Windows Active Directory Domain
b. Office 365
c. Okta
d. Box
8. Setup and support local area and wide area networks.
9. Configure printers in Windows print servers.
10. Troubleshoot computer and network issues.
11. Test all software before implementing it in production.
REQUIREMENTS
1. 5 or more years? experience supporting local and wide area networks.
2. 3 or more years? Experience supporting a Windows Active Directory Domain.
3. 3 or more years? Experience supporting Office 365
4. 3 or more years? experience supporting Hyper-V
5. 5 or more years? Experience supporting users in a network environment.
6. Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred
