Job Details
Role Overview In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and upkeep of global network infrastructure and security systems. Your scope will encompass a range of networking equipment and tools, including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and monitoring solutions, to support seamless network operations on an international scale.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively manage and monitor the network infrastructure to deliver consistent "network as a service" to business units across the organization.
Ensure thorough documentation and optimal performance of the network infrastructure, meeting or exceeding internal and customer SLA standards through measurable metrics.
Conduct routine operational readiness assessments with supporting documentation.
Effectively manage and mitigate network vulnerabilities within appropriate timeframes.
Follow established installation and configuration protocols, utilizing reference materials as necessary.
Participate actively in the network engineering design and governance forums to support network standardization.
Identify and resolve instances of non-compliance with network configuration standards.
Manage technical incident resolution within SLA requirements, handling complex outages and implementing corrective measures.
Facilitate network changes in alignment with internal change management policies and procedures.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Cisco CCNA certification required; CCNP certification highly preferred.
ITIL v3 Foundation or above.
A minimum of 5 years of networking experience within a global enterprise environment
Technical Skills and Proficiencies
Cisco Routing & Switching
Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
Cisco Meraki Wireless Solutions
SD-WAN implementation and management
Familiarity with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
Experience with SolarWinds NPM and NCM
Preferred Technical Skills
Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI, APIC)
Experience with NetScaler Load Balancing
Proficiency in AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer
Experience with Azure Cloud Networking
Exposure to network automation tools
