Team Responsibilities
- Fully understand OTC’s people-first values & culture bring this to the dev team
- Fully understand our product features and functionality - product is Web & App
- Fully understand how customers use our product - product manager will collaborate with this
- Bring OTC Values/culture, knowledge or product, and customers to the dev team as stories, then sprints
- Tie back all developer efforts to customer benefits, demonstrating that their work makes a difference in customers' lives
- The development manager will report to the CTO
Experience and education requirements
- 5+ years in compliance or equivalent experience
- 10+ years full stack developer experience
- 5+ years leading software development teams
- BA or equivalent in computer science
Compliance Responsibilities
- Security Standards such as SOC2, PCI DSS, ISO/IEC 27001 (not limited to)
- Information risk management
- Regulatory compliance relating to hosting/infrastructure/site/app etc
- Data privacy compliance
- International compliance
- Incident response/data breach
- Primary Internal Partner, security reviews, mitigation, and compliance
- All other industry standard compliance (emerging and current)
Architecture Responsibilities
- Set the technology & architecture strategy
- Research new technologies from an implementation standpoint that can be applied to OTC
- Improve hosting architecture
- Improve development architecture
Technical Skills
- Deep knowledge of software development in general
- SLDC
- DevOps
- CI/CD
- Release management
- AWS / Azure
- Modern software development tooling
Other Responsibilities
- Prepare OTC for 1M users
- Oversee all areas of technology
- Create policies around technology
- Managing the company’s tech stack, tech processes, and tech training
- Oversight of projects and work with third-party software development teams
