Position: Cyber Security Specialist
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA (Hybrid 3 Days/Week Onsite)
Duration: Full Time Permanent
Pay range: USD $134k - $195k Annually/Yearly + Annual Reviews and BIPs .and benefits
Job description
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
- Security+ certification.
- Extensive experience in operational cybersecurity accreditation and certification of embedded systems accredited at Secret level and below.
- In-depth understanding of AR 25-2 and the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), with current experience (within the last 2 years) in obtaining system accreditation using RMF and eMASS software.
- Proven experience in preparing recommended IA approval and supporting documents, with a solid grasp of systems engineering processes.
- Strong knowledge of DoD standards guiding the development of cybersecurity policies, requirements, integration, engineering, and certification and accreditation.
