- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Secret Clearance or higher
- Experience with Linux server and workstation systems administration on Red Hat based distributions (RHEL9, RHEL8, RHEL7, Rocky8, CentOS7) to include:
- Break/fix troubleshooting
- Provisioning via Satellite, Kickstart, or Forman
- Network infrastructure services setup and maintenance of DNS, DHCP
- Network storage services setup and maintenance of NFS, automounts, SMB/Samba
- Privilege escalation management
- Security+ certification
- Experience with centralized authentication systems
- Some shell scripting experience (sh/bash or csh/tcsh)
Plusses
• Configuration management with Ansible/Ansible Automation Platform, AWX, puppet, or chef
• Centralized authentication setup and user/group management (FreeIPA, IDM, Kerberos, LDAP, NIS)

This person will manage, maintain, and optimize Linux servers and systems that support software development operations. The role involves a combination of technical expertise, system management, and collaboration with development teams to ensure a stable and efficient production environment.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux OS
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Linux environments.
• Utilize configuration management tools to ensure systems are patched and compliant.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures in accordance with DoD, U.S. Government, and Foreign Military Sales requirements, including DISA STIGs and adherence to NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171 controls.
• Continuous oversight of system performance and security.
• Provide hardware support for systems within environments and air-gapped lab systems.
• Document operational processes, configurations, and system architectures to support management, Security operations, and software teams.
