This role is considered Onsite or Remote with occasional in office requirement and visits to branch offices located across the U.S. (5% Travel)
Responsibilities:
- Provide network administration for maintaining the computing environment using a variety of Networking Devices and SaaS, remote access VPN, Firewalls, ATP, and IPS/IDS
- Deploy and maintain Network Monitoring Software, and TCP/IP by executing routine changes, provision services, and deployments - Fault isolation, service recovery, and incident analysis.
- Evaluate existing network systems to ensure network capacity meets current and future network requirements.
- Monitors network performance and troubleshoots and resolves complex problems to maintain operating efficiency and ensure quality transmission service on the network.
- Expected to use subject matter expertise to diagnose and solve issues and utilize considerable authority to deviate from standard operating procedures.
- Administer and manage the organization's Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Ensure the availability, performance, reliability, and security of the Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365 issues, including those related to connectivity, mail flow, and mobile device management.
- Plan and implement updates and new features to the Microsoft 365/Azure platforms.
- Manage mail hygiene settings such as anti-spam and anti-phishing policies.
- Collaborate with IT team members and stakeholders to define and implement Microsoft 365 policies and procedures.
- Perform regular audits to monitor, optimize and document Microsoft 365 and security control environment.
- Implement and manage data governance and compliance features in Microsoft 365.
- Manage integration between Microsoft 365 and other systems.
- Plan and execute data migration projects within and to the Microsoft 365 environments.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end users for Microsoft 365 and endpoint related issues.
- Create and maintain system documentation related to Microsoft 365, Azure, and associated SaaS configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Develop and implement solutions in SharePoint/Teams as part of application solutions.
Qualifications:
- 3 + years of experience in network support and Network Engineering -- Prefer a Bachelor's or Technical Degree in an IT field of study.
- Solid experience in with network hardware and software side, implementations, best practices, and migration at large scale.
- Establishing network specifications; analyzing network traffic and diagnoses connectivity issues, access, information, and security requirements, designs router administration including interface configuration and routing protocols.
- Desirable - Hold industry specific certifications - DoD 8570 IAT Level II - CompTIA Security +, CCNA, etc., or military equivalent.
- Expert level ability to design and support WAN & LAN connectivity to multiple data centers and campuses in hybrid mode.
- Strong background in Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Power Platform and Azure Resources.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, administration, and configuration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues related to Microsoft 365 deployments and configurations.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 security features, data protection, compliance requirements, and ability to implement and enforce security best practices.
- Knowledge of identity and access management concepts in the context of Microsoft 365 & Azure.
- Demonstrated commitment to staying updated with the latest trends, updates, and advancements in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Solid analysis skills as well as good oral communication skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and collaboration skills.
Other Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Windows Hyper-V.
- Experience with designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures Familiar with PKI trusted identity managed systems.
- Familiar with Arctic Wolf IDS/IPS solutions
- Knowledge of 3rd party SaaS IDS/IPS solutions and SOC implementation.
- Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
- Desired: Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert certification.
- Desired: Azure Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Security Administrator Associate certification.
