Job Description
The Enterprise Resiliency Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive solutions that enhance the resilience of the organization’s IT and business systems. This role involves developing strategies to ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and system reliability, while aligning with enterprise architecture principles and business objectives. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that mitigate risks, optimize performance, and ensure rapid recovery from disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade resiliency solutions, focusing on business continuity, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments and provide solutions to mitigate potential threats to IT systems and business operations.
- Resiliency Frameworks: Develop and maintain resiliency frameworks and architectures to ensure critical business functions are protected against failures.
- Disaster Recovery Planning: Design, implement, and test disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal impact in the event of a disruption.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, security, operations, and business units to identify resiliency needs and ensure architectural solutions are integrated across the organization.
- Cloud & Hybrid Environments: Architect solutions that support both cloud and on-premises systems, ensuring that resilience strategies are applicable across hybrid environments.
- Incident Response: Collaborate with incident response teams to design solutions that enable quick identification, containment, and recovery from disruptions.
- Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance the resiliency of the organization’s architecture.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure that solutions adhere to regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and industry best practices related to enterprise resiliency.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement and oversee systems that monitor the health, performance, and security of critical IT assets.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of resiliency strategies, frameworks, and disaster recovery plans.
