With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our team and seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy MES Support Specialist to join our team, with a focus on providing expert-level support for our Tebis Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Job Summary:
Our ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, manufacturing process knowledge, and strong communication skills. As a Tebis MES Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support, implementation assistance, and customer training for our MES solution. Your role will involve working closely with customers to troubleshoot issues, assist with system setup, and ensure seamless integration with their manufacturing processes. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge software in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and support Tebis MES software solutions within manufacturing environments
- Work closely with senior team members to help optimize resource capacity planning and production scheduling
- Configure and develop dashboards, user interfaces, and reporting features using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
- Support system integration tasks with other systems such as RESTful APIs, custom Gateway configurations, and custom scripting (YAML, Visual Basic, Java)
- Analyze and manage data, generating key performance reports and metrics
- Provide training and support to new users, ensuring a smooth software adoption process.
- Work in a team environment to solve complex problems and ensure continuous improvement of MES processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in MES support or similar technical roles
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is highly preferred
- Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS for configuring dashboards and user interfaces
- Knowledge of SQL databases and querying
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users
- Willingness to travel as needed for on-site support and training
- Understanding of manufacturing operations, resource capacity planning, and scheduling.
- Scripting experience in YAML, Visual Basic, Java, or similar a plus
- Networking knowledge, including troubleshooting server connectivity issues
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
