We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Platform Engineer to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in the tech industry. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable and secure software platforms. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Kubernetes and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure software platforms using Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the business requirements and propose effective software solutions.
- Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to streamline system updates and increase efficiency.
- Conduct system tests for security, performance, and availability.
- Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, scalability, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
- Act as a technical advisor to the team, assisting them in their duties and helping them overcome any technical difficulties.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies and be prepared to apply them when needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes is a must.
- Strong experience in designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS.
- Terraform, Helm, or similar
- Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, TypeScript, Rust, Python, Java
- Familiarity with network protocols, database management, and data flow management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
- A continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
