Senior Network Engineer
Experience:
A Minimum of 7 years in the Financial Industry, preferably in a Trading environment, is required for this position. The candidate must have experience in the Architecture, Design, Implementation, and Maintenance of Trading-related Network infrastructure, such as: Market Data Distribution Networks, low-latency, ultra-low-latency and high frequency trading networks.

- A solid background designing, managing, and troubleshooting diverse multi-protocol, switched and routed enterprise networks.
- The candidate must be good at documentation in general. Competent with working with network diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
- Expert level knowledge and experience with BGP and other routing protocols in order to be able to design and implement various connectivity solutions to clients, vendors, and the management of the Trading network environment.
- Expert level knowledge and experience with Multicast routing protocols in order to be able design and implement Market data connectivity solutions to our Market data exchange vendors.
- Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues with both external and internal clients.
- Heavy hands-on experience with multiple internetworking devices
- Strong ability to use packet tracing technologies to troubleshoot network issues.
- Expert level troubleshooting knowledge with multiple vendor routing and forwarding architectures to resolve possible production issues or design behavior issues.
- Strong knowledge of TCP, UDP, and higher layer protocols in order to understand application performance and troubleshooting application issues on the network.
- Expert level troubleshooting knowledge with multiple vendor routing and forwarding architectures to resolve possible production issues or design behavior issues.

Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
Industry Certifications:
Cisco or similar industry certifications will be a big plus
